The Atelier · Ahmedabad
A study in patience.
Every Shahi Gulab creation begins at 4 a.m. in our Ahmedabad atelier. Khoya is reduced over copper kazaans for nine hours. Damask roses, sourced from a single grower in Pushkar, are distilled the morning of production. The silver leaf is hand-pressed paper-thin.
There are no shortcuts. There are no preservatives. There is only time, intention, and the quiet ceremony of making something that deserves to be gifted.
The Process
From bloom to boxed ritual
Source
Damask roses from Pushkar. Khoya from grass-fed dairies. Cashews from Goa. Each ingredient single-origin.
Distil
Roses are distilled within hours of harvest. The essence captures the bloom's full character without artificial shortcuts.
Slow-cook
Nine hours of reduction in copper kazaans. Continuous hand-stirring. Temperature monitored to the degree.
Finish
Each piece individually shaped, garnished with petals, finished with silver leaf, and inspected by hand.
